Meet my daughter, Saidi.  She is 8.  And she is beautiful.  Saidi is my middle child.  She is compassionate, sweet, caring, intelligent, and amazing.  She loves to read, sing, create art, play with her brother and sister, and loves to spend time with her friends.  Saidi modeled for me the other day, while I was practicing my lighting and she nailed it!  But when I was looking at her pictures, it made me stop and think… where is my little girl?!  This beautiful young woman in these photos looks so grown.  As I think of how she is growing, I also notice her changing.  She still loves dolls and toys, but she also likes to play on the computer.  She is singing along to the songs on the radio (although it is mostly the Kidz BOP versions that she knows) and she also likes to talk on the phone… a lot!  It is crazy how quickly our children grow and move from one stage of life to the next.  I am so grateful to be her mother and to have her beautiful spirit in my life. ❤

Kamins Family

I loved having the opportunity to work with David and Chelsea as they tied the knot last April.

David & Chelsea have such a beautiful family!! I mean, seriously… how cute are these kids?! Now, almost exactly one year later, I had the opportunity to take their family photos again.  Their adorable kids kept me hopping and laughing during the entire shoot.  We climbed rocks, played under a bridge, and had a great time.  David and Chelsea agreed, we will make this an annual tradition, so we can see how their family grows and changes for every year to come!

Matt + Katie Wedding

What happens when a country boy- who loves camping, fishing, hunting, and getting his hands dirty, marries a posh, cheer-leading, tap-dancing, sweetheart?  You get Matt and Katie; the perfect blend of lady and manly!

Ringing in the new year with love, laughter, and a wedding was an amazing start to our 2016.  Matt and Katie started their New Year by tying the knot and kicking off a new chapter in their lives.  We wish them a life of happiness together and cherish these moments we captured in their lives.

Flor + Alejandro Wedding

Alejandro and Flora are the perfect latino Prince Charming and Cinderella! What a beautiful day of love, laughter, family, and memories we captured as they said ‘I do”. Flor is one of the kindest people we’ve ever met, and Alejandro is lucky to have a woman like her. The sight of his bride walking toward him brought Alejandro to tears. Their relationship is so sweet, and as they begin this journey together, we know their bond will only be strengthened over time.

Piona Family

Casa de Fruta, an iconic landmark on Highway 152 in Central California, is one of my family’s favorite places to stop. We love the pond, the peacocks, the merry-go-round, and the antique tractors. My kids and I have been coming here for years, and it was so great to capture the Piona family also having fun in this picturesque setting. The girls loved running around the playground and pond, and I loved their sweet interaction and genuine smiles.

Casey + Brooke Wedding

What a privilege it was to capture the moments from this wedding! The beautiful Mariposa mountains, and the rustic Bohemian feel of the decorations perfectly complemented and romanced the family ranch setting for Casey and Brooke’s big day. They spent months working on the ranch, turning it from an old, unused piece of land to a beautiful area for  the ceremony and reception. Hand sliced wood rounds, pinecones and succulents, vintage books and antique bottles, were perfectly accented by the beautiful lace and wispy draped fabrics. The decorations gave a nod to the past, and created a timeless elegance that was deeply romantic and moving.
